Survivor Benefit Worksheet

This worksheet can be used to create an estimate of the Pilots D&S Plan monthly income survivor benefit when entering the pilot's final average earnings, Delta service, age at retirement and date of retirement. The worksheet calculates the survivor benefit including variable benefit increases that occurred from the time of the pilot's event date (retirement or disability, whichever occurred first) to the current date. Generally the estimate has been shown to be very close to the estimates provided by Delta.
